Who is the ring pen for?
People with hand deformities.
People with little strength in their hands and/or fingers.
Seniors who find it hard to hold a pen while writing. Their fingers hurt because age, rheumatism, or arthritis has made them less flexible. Their handwriting is unsteady.
For everyone. If you write a lot, and for a long time, with a round pen, a bump forms on your finger and your hand goes numb after a stretch of continuous writing. The ring pen works for right-handed and left-handed writers.
Some people have little or no use of their arms. The ring pen can also slip onto the toes.
How do you use the ring pen?
Slide your index finger into the hole, and let the neighboring fingers (thumb and middle finger) rest beside it without tension. The tip of your index finger should rest on the ridged part of the pen. Your palm should sit as close to the ring as possible.
The shape of the pen naturally leads to a relaxed finger position. While writing, do not squeeze the pen. Hold it lightly and slide the tip with your fingers, keeping pressure at point A. If you hold the pen correctly, you do not need your middle finger, only your thumb and index finger.
If a regular pen is hard to hold, you will find the right finger position on your own. The fact that it does not hurt is enough to guide you.
If writing does not usually hurt, you will need to let go of the long habit of squeezing the pen. Simply rest your fingers, without clenching or tension, and write.
After a little practice, you will notice that your fingers stay relaxed and that you can write for a long time without effort.
