The adaptive utensils are made for people who have trouble holding a fork, spoon, or knife on their own, or with a typical grip. They make it possible to eat independently. Our selection includes folding utensils, pieces with large handles, angled and curved utensils, rocking knives for meat, and utensil sets designed for a weak grip.
Good to know:
- If you would rather keep the utensils you already own, try grip build-ups that make the handles thicker and easier to hold.
- Some adaptive utensils are dishwasher safe.
- For a more comfortable grip, some models are made for right-handed users and others for left-handed users.
- Along with adaptive utensils, we also carry adaptive dinnerware and other daily living aids for mealtimes.
