Very noisy, even if that's probably hard to avoid for a unit this size. It will still be very useful to me this summer because I can't stand the heat at all anymore due to my various health problems. I needed a floor-standing unit, because if I put a small unit on a chair, I can no longer get through in my wheelchair. With this one, by putting part of the base under the bed, I get through with no problem.
